hmm i don't know ive only used phpbb once and i think it was 2, but i don't know
i would say maybe 3 since its newer and might have fixed things from 2 and most likely added new features |

I too am not sure about this with my forum, i believe phpbb3 is more versatile and you have more control and can do more etc however i have never tried it, would this forum remain and just upgrade or would you have to start fresh? Also would it support this skin? If so I would say go for it? Not sure how you upgrade though or how different phpbb3 would be to use compared to phpbb2? I guess you would get the hang of it eventually...  |

When PhpBB3 is available by Forumer, all PhpBB2 forums will be upgraded to phpBB3 though you will have a choice to upgrade it or not. I don't know about the skin.
